I, as a volunteer for Bethel RCOG services and events, acknowledge that I am volunteering for the Bethel RCOG’s Sunday School department events and services. I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. I understand and acknowledge that Bethel Sunday School regular meetings and events may involve various activities, including but not limited to supervising children, assisting with games, crafts, lessons and providing support during these educational programs or events.
2. I agree to release and hold harmless Bethel RCOG and its departments, its staff, members, leaders, guests, volunteers, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the Bethel Sunday School regular meetings or events. This release includes, but is not limited to, any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur as a result of negligence or fault by Bethel RCOG and its departments or its staff, members, leaders, guests, volunteers, and representatives.
3. I understand that I will not receive any financial compensation for my volunteer services during the Bethel Sunday School regular meetings and events. I acknowledge that I am participating voluntarily and that I am responsible for my own transportation and personal expenses.
4. In the event of an emergency, I authorize the staff, organizers, or leaders Bethel Sunday School to seek necessary medical treatment on my behalf. I understand that I will be responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of such treatment.
5. I understand that photographs or videos may be taken at Bethel Sunday School regular meetings and events, and I grant Bethel RCOG and its departments the right to use such photographs or videos for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation or further consent.
6. I certify that I am physically and mentally capable of performing the tasks assigned to me as a volunteer during Bethel Sunday School regular meetings and events. I agree to inform Bethel Sunday School leaders, organizers, and/or fellow volunteers and staff, of any medical conditions or limitations that may affect my ability to fulfill my volunteer duties.
7. I acknowledge that there are certain risks and hazards associated with participation in Bethel Sunday School regular meetings and events, including, but not limited to, the risk of personal injury to any extent, death, or property damage of any extent. I fully understand and accept these risks on my behalf.
